I led the Google Creative Team for 10+ years — from the early days of AdWords and Google Maps for Business to the launches of Pixel and the Google Store, all the way through the advent of Gemini.

I helped introduce Google Assistant to the world and the ecosystem of smart devices it lived in. There was B2B work with Google Cloud, advocacy with Google for Education and corporate communications for Core Data. All told, I worked on more than 25 different Google products and programs, some of which aren’t even around anymore.

Working on Google and alongside Googlers for as long as I did taught me a lot about the difference between client service and client partnership. It’s true what they say, doing cool things that matter is better together.
